There’s a lot to see and do in Disney Springs, especially if you love shopping, dining, and things like Cirque du Soleil and live Irish dancing.

However, there hasn’t been an interactive experience in Disney World in a LONG time. At one point, there was a Star Wars virtual reality experience plus there was the NBA Experience. But both of those experiences closed and we’ve had nothing since…until now. A NEW interactive, social entertainment experience by LEVEL99 is headed to Disney Springs.
LEVEL99 is described as an interactive, social entertainment experience with challenge rooms. It currently has locations across the East Coast but will be opening its fifth and largest location on the West Side of Disney Springs. The experience includes “real-world, challenge-based, social entertainment for adults featuring over 50 physical and mental challenges set in artistic environments.”

LEVEL99 features challenge rooms where teams of two to six players work together to beat either a physical or mental challenge (think escape rooms but BIGGER). Each experience lasts around one to four minutes and even includes arena duels for player vs. player battles and an art hunt.

The location in Disney Springs will occupy over 45,000 square feet with a two-level venue with over 60 challenge rooms and duels. LEVEL99 expects to be able to entertain up to 1,000 players at any given time in the interactive space. There will also be a two-story bar with handcrafted cocktails and local beers, as well as a menu that features LEVEL99’s signature Detroit-style pizza.

“We are defining the category and setting the standard for out-of-home, interactive entertainment,” said LEVEL99 CEO and Founder Matthew DuPlessie. “After spending two decades in the location-based entertainment industry, it became clear there was consumer demand for a concept like this – a real unmet need. Our vision is to make ‘challenge rooms’ a mainstream concept, and the opportunity to open at a marquee location like Disney Springs is the next step in our plans to expand the LEVEL99 brand nationally.”
We’ll be keeping an eye out for more information about the new LEVEL99 location in Disney Springs, so check back with AllEars again soon for more.
